The Creator of this world put within the human body a biological immune system capable of keeping the human body healthy as well as repairing damage to living cells. Science without ideals, knowledge without character, industry without morals and politics without principles have made an assault upon this God given capacity to live within the laws of nature. When the world puts a moratorium upon this industrial assault of human health by white coats who practice black arts rolling out unfounded, untested, and dangerous medical science the health of our populations will be restored by the natural capacity of the body to heal itself under a healthy diet and the spiritual power of a God of love. Good medicine never objects to a thorough investigation of facts and a true estimate of results. If you trust man more than you trust God you can subject yourself to his science. But the rulers of this world have no right to subject our children to be used as lab rats from their profiteering industries. The children of this world until they choose otherwise belong to God and are endowed with the free gift of eternal life and the right to the living waters of spiritual powers.

Victorious Children’s Ministries (VCM) is a Christian Community Based Organization in Uganda. Located in the Kawanda Kaayi Zone, Wakiso District

 Our Mission

Our mission is to provide orphaned and vulnerable children with a safe, loving, caring home and all children with an education that ensures they will be able to develop to their full potential and have hope for their future.  We aim to cooperate and collaborate with local authorities and members of the community to accomplish this.  We believe that by empowering the children through the teaching of Jesus, they will grow spiritually, physically, emotionally and intellectually to be healthy, happy, responsible, caring adults who will make a difference in their community.

What we do

 We work with families and individuals in the community together with  sponsors, volunteers and supporters to provide a safe, happy, loving family environment, health care and an education to the children. VCMU houses 15 children at the ministry, supports another 105 vulnerable children in the community with food and school fees and provides an education to 110 children, ages 3-9 from poor families at our new C&K Child Development Centre.

We are growing in our sustainability through cultivating crops at our 3 acre garden and our piggery.  Our crops provide healthy meals for the children, distribute food to poor families in the community and sell crops to provide funds for the ministry.  We have recently planted 100 mango trees at our farm.

We remain more committed than ever to our goals and know that through Jesus we are winners.  

Our work is vital not only the children, but our whole community and we look forward to ​​​​​continued progress.

Child Sponsorship
Over 50% of Uganda's population are under the age of 18. There are many children needing support in order to receive basic needs and have the opportunity to go to school. The VCM Child Sponsorship Program was created for vulnerable and orphaned children. The program currently reaches to those children in Kawanda Village and nearby communities. By sponsoring a child you will educate, empower and see a child with hope for their future and community.

How It Works
We have two levels of sponsorship to suit your budget.

1. $30 USD a month  provides a vulnerable/orphaned child in the community a home at VCM.​The money you pay as a Sponsor covers  all the basic needs for your sponsored child including:

• education
• school fees
• uniform
• books and materials
• food
• clothing
• accommodation
• health care 

2. $ 20 USD a month covers education and medical care   for a child to attend school at C&K Child Development Centre. 

What will you receive?

As a sponsor you will receive frequent letters from your sponsored child and the ministry, updating you on your child's progress. You will also receive a  Certificate of Appreciation at the end of each year, thanking you for all the support you have provided.

Organized religion has proved to be conservatively tardy. The prophets have usually led the people in religious development; the theologians have usually held them back. Religion, being a matter of inner or personal experience, can never develop very far in advance of the intellectual evolution of the races.

  ^144:8.4 "Verily, verily, I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen a greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is but small in the kingdom of heaven is greater because he has been born of the spirit and knows that he has become a son of God."

 About Prophecy

Isaiah tells us that God’s ways are not man’s ways. God’s words, the words of true prophecy, are also not like man's words.  God’s words start as small seedlings and over time they grow, give off branches, form buds, and finally, burst into bloom.  Just so, the word "Israel" starts out as the tiny seed of one man named Abraham, but through the ages, the word "Israel" grows, changes, and finally bursts forth into the brotherhood of all mankind.  

Words of prophecy often have past, present, and future connotations. Each word demands tremendous respect and study of all the contexts of its usage.  Reverence for the source of prophecy is the key to its study, for it is God who must lead our minds into the understanding of what He himself has inspired?  

Without the indwelling spirit there would be no prophecy and no interpretation of prophecy.  But reason and the scientific method are also critical for the elimination of error, and for the building of a strong foundation from whence inspired intuition may leap safely.  

Therefore, both reason and faith are necessary for the complete appreciation of prophecy, just as they are for the full appreciation of all other phenomena.

  ^99:5.11 What a mistake for Christians to make when, in presenting Christ as the supreme ideal of spiritual leadership, they dare to require God-conscious men and women to reject the historic leadership of the God-knowing men who have contributed to their particular national or racial illumination during past ages.

^26:11.5 The mortal creature must find God. The Creator Son never stops until he finds man -- the lowest will creature. Beyond doubt, the Creator Sons and their mortal children are preparing for some future and unknown universe service. Both traverse the gamut of the experiential universe and so are educated and trained for their eternal mission. Throughout the universes there is occurring this unique blending of the human and the divine, the commingling of creature and Creator. Unthinking mortals have referred to the manifestation of divine mercy and tenderness, especially towards the weak and in behalf of the needy, as indicative of an anthropomorphic God. What a mistake! Rather should such manifestations of mercy and forbearance by human beings be taken as evidence that mortal man is indwelt by the spirit of the living God; that the creature is, after all, divinity motivated.

Limited job training opportunities and lack of resources for business start-up have been major barriers to men and women moving forward in their lives and educating and feeding their children.

Low job skills and lack of capacity to make a living also impact mental health. Current Economic Self-Sufficiency Program

ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION:

1. Spreading the gospel and evangelism
2. Providing basic needs to the widows, and elders like clothes, food, soap, salt, fuel for cooking and other necessities of living.
3. Providing school materials like books, pens, pencils, school uniforms (i.e Trouser for boys, Skirts for girls, shirts, and shoes for both).
4. Equipping skills to the needy and vulnerable children and the community.
5. Equipping the children with relevant skills and establishing income-generating projects.

PROJECTS OF THE ORGANIZATION:

• Construction of new PIGGERY PROJECT for the youth as their source of income which will also inspire other youth in the community. (The youth are mainly guided and taught how to be transformed into an important person). PIGGERY; Refers to the rearing of pigs. The project may differ in terms of income depending on one’s capital invested in the project, (the more capital invested the more output generated) the projects output may take very little time compared to other projects as in rearing animals because the gestation period of a pig is much shorter compared to a cow or a goat. Secondly, pigs grow faster and their lactation period is also short that is why I chose the piggery project. This is our responsibility to lead these children in a way that will help them to be self-reliant in the future and there they will be able to care for their own families in the old stages.

CHALLENGES FACING THE ORGANIZATION IN GENERAL:

1. The youth face a challenge of the long distance covered for mission outreach due to lack of transport when going for gospel outreach in the nearby areas.
2. The caretakers of the children face a problem of land shortages where they could practice Agriculture.
3. The children move 2 ½ kilometers to reach the nearby school which doesn’t provide quality education to them.
4. Limited land for Agriculture.

PLANS:

1. We plan to practice agriculture on a large scale such that we can get some food from our own Land to reduce the high price of food products.
2. We also plan if we get sufficient funding to buy food for the caretakers of the children which can be used in the periods of food scarcity.
3. We also plan to set up a piggery project for the youth such that they can make their own source of income in a community. And also rabbit rearing projects for the children such that our children can be able to help their families in providing home requirements. We require your support, help, prayers, and the guidance of God to turn our dreams into actuals.

BACKGROUND

WILMAT DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION is a Non-Profit Organization that was founded in 2014 with the main goal of providing practical education to the underprivileged community people in Uganda. Early 2019, we took on the partnership with Changing Lives-Switzerland as education is the way out of poverty and further improve their living conditions through sustainable development programs by integrating them in the society and helping them to find the best solutions to the entrenched problems affecting them in their respective communities. Our experience is based on the reality that every human being is a unique individual and that we all have a right to good health and basic needs of life and access means to a comfortable life in one way or another.

OUR APPROACH

We seek to bring in new ideas for solving problems facing millions around the world, delivering more impact for less resources with greater potential for sustainable scale improving youth livelihoods and encouraging social responsibility inspired by the venture of social, leadership and economic-empowerment experience. We work with the public/communities, private sectors and civil society to empower people to lead happier and more meaningful changed lives as little about the future of society is inevitable bound by our shared humanity, we believe through collective efforts, we have the power to shape the societies and communities for everyone to live in.

We use a bottom-up approach as we seek to establish a learning center that will be focussed on providing hands on skills practical education tailored towards community empowerment and development. We seek to increase people's income through providing practical skills education as a way of reducing unemployment and poverty levels in Uganda at least by 0.002% by 2030.

WHERE WE WORK

We are currently working within the Central region (Kampala, Wakiso & Mukono), Western region (Kasese district) and Eastern region (Jinja, Budaka & Mayuge district) of Uganda with plans of expanding to the rest of the country, East Africa and later Africa and the world at large in the nearby plan in accordance to our work plan.

When the world is asleep, most women are always up taking care of their beloved children, the question to most of our ears and on our lips is, How can we help to support women worldwide?!

To make a difference is something that a few people may opt to do but to us, we plan to do and achieve through Christ we are alive again.
