Youth in Act-Uganda

There are many Orphans and Vulnerable children, and helpless youth out there in the world and for that case Youth in Act-Uganda comes to give support to this young generation and uplifting their hope through mobilization of resources and networking in or to create sustainable livelihood. Through this initiative and everyone's support, we shall be able to achieve our common goal of saving the nation most especially the young generation.

Youth In Act-Uganda is non governmental organization that helps the youths, orphans and the needy children. the organization supports the orphans and needy children from very poor families by providing for their essential needs like Education, Medical care and clothing. The youths who are still in school going age but dropped out due to their poor family financial status to support them through their education are catered for in the same way and those who can not afford to earn a living in this crazy world and are beyond the school going age are supported through projects, thus providing them with facilities like garden working tools deals, seeds, animals for rearing, fish farming projects and it gives them skills on how to produce local agricultural products like tomato sauce, tea beverages and many others including liquid soap making. It supports the youth to grow crops, rear animals, grow fish, keep bees and poultry birds. It also gives sensitization to the community on how to manage their farms.

Hello everybody,

My name is Kato Pare Patrick, I am 19 years between anyway turning to 20 years in September 2023 and am from Uganda in western region ibanda district. I am very thankful that I have a special friend who helped me to create this Campaign Fundraiser So that I go back school to finish up my studies.

I am an Orphan, I lost my both Parents whereby my father passed way in 2005 and mother passed away in 2018. I met Paul Kemp and his Wife Monica in 2018 when I was 14 years old… we met via Messenger where they introduced me The New Revelation UB… where I started the journey of Urantia Book with Paper 120 The Life and Teachings of Jesus. And I had not learned much,,,when it comes to reading English and writing English spellings so the Urantia Book helped me to understand English as I read a new word everyday in the Urantia Book,,, “it was like a dictionary to me” 

In that year 2018, Paul managed to create my Educational Fundraiser to raise funds for supporting my education. So that year I went back to school I met different Good Samaritans who helped me through. I thank the Almighty for that.

In 2020, I was adopted to my Aunt’s family where I still live. 

I take this opportunity to thank each and everybody for loving me Blessings and Love.

In 2021, I also managed to found a group “Youth Urantia Scholars” in ibanda

to change selves of my fellow students/Youth in my community… where I kept in touch with different students in our school and outside our school… 

Back to my Education Background. I am in A’level whereby I offer Arts Course and I will be finishing this above level of education next year 2024. To go to University. 
I still call Upon Good Samaritans to rise up and support me towards my education.

Kato's University Campaign

I am Lobinah Mwine from Kampala, Uganda and I am so grateful for this family due to the work it is doing spiritually. I am 23 years and I am a Ugandan by nationality. I Joined Institute of Culinary Arts this year. I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts.

Culinary Arts: Culinary arts is the art of the preparation, cooking and presentation of food, usually in the form of meals. And Usually People working in this field are called Chefs or Cooks. And what is Interesting here is you learn to cook tasty and healthy food, worthy to be served in top restaurants.

My carer goal is to be a great Chef behind my own recipes.  After being a total Orphan in March 2019 when my only left parent passed away fighting Cancer. My Father died when I was in Secondary Level and by then I could have financial Support from Him. But Now in March my beloved Mother left!! I feel so sad when i think about her. But i need to move on with life so that they both will be proud of there daughter. Now i have financial problems to raise funds to take through the remaining years to achieve my goal and carer of being a Great Chef in Culinary School.

- To improve the living condition of the most disadvantaged children and making the world a better place to live in.

Many children available for sponsorship. They're so thankful to be loved and played for by their sponsor.

BEGIN SPONSORING A CHILD:
- To get started, choose the gender of the child you would like to sponsor. If you know a specific program within our area, you can select that as well. All available children will be listed and you can select the child you would like to begin sponsoring.

AS A SPONSOR, WE ASK YOU TO:
- Write to your child. You can send your letter and attached photos to risenphilly@gmail.com Once we receive your letter, it's sent and delivered to your child. letters are a great way to encourage your sponsored child and let them know that someone cares about them. Tell them about yourself, your family and ask about their lives.
- Pray for your child. Use the photos and information about your child as a reminder to pray for them.
- Commit to support your child for atleast  one full year, each of our sponsors commits to $35 per month sponsorship that provides for the daily needs of your sponsored Child.

AS A SPONSOR, YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- A photo and information about your sponsored Child.
- The opportunity to have a personal relationship with your child by writing and receiving letters.
- Annual progress reports with updated photos of your child.

HOW DOES SPONSORSHIP HELP MY CHILD?
- Your gifts will be sent directly to the project to help with the costs associated with that child. Actual details of what your sponsorship covers can vary from project to project from monthly tuition to food and clothing. all projects include Christian discipleship of the children.
