In a fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the needy, but extending a helping hand is paramount. Compassion unites us, fostering empathy and community strength. Acts of kindness create a ripple effect, inspiring others to do the same, instilling purpose and fulfillment. By aiding those facing inequality and injustices, we work toward a fairer world.

Luke 6:38 - "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

Helping the needy cultivates gratitude, strengthens communities, and makes the world better. You can contribute through volunteering, donations, spreading awareness, supporting local initiatives, or simple acts of kindness. Let's collectively create a world where compassion drives positive change, fulfilling the teachings of love and kindness found in the Bible

https://spiritualfamily.net/permalink/default/65121/streets-to-smiles-initiative-fundraiser

Love is infectious, and when human devotion is intelligent and wise, love is more catching than hate. But only genuine and unselfish love is truly contagious. If each mortal could only become a focus of dynamic affection, this benign virus of love would soon pervade the sentimental emotion-stream of humanity to such an extent that all civilization would be encompassed by love, and that would be the realization of the brotherhood of man

Corinthians 13:4-7 (New International Version):

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres."

Since it is a long journey from Mbarara to jinja, it took me some good number of hours to reach Jinja and I reached the Hotel at 11pm in the night.

At that time I found the place so silent because it was time for people to have rest for everything they did during the day. I had to also find a room to rest as I wait for the following day since I was also too exhausted by the journey.

In the morning of the following day, I woke up very early since I was eagerly wanted to attend. So I got up, organized myself and headed for morning breakfast at the Hotel restaurant. To my surprise was to see a very huge number of people of different age brackets lining up for breakfast and they had all come to attend the conference, my happiness started to raise seeing such a big population which had come to receive the revelation.

After breakfast, we headed to conference hall and the day’s program commenced. There were presentations from different people and it was so interesting as the different presenters were speaking about the nice and useful information embodied in the Urantia book and I really felt so happy once more. It was also such an interactive moment where people were asking questions here and there and every person’s opinion was listened and explanations provided where necessary.

Everything concerning the basic necessities was provided at the conference for example feeding with all meals, accommodation, and medical care for those who got some health challenges etc and everything was a success.

Attendees having one of the meals

During my stay throughout the entire conference, I met and interacted with many people from the different parts or regions some of whom I knew, some I didn’t know, some I had just heard of them but at the end of it all I was able to make many friends.

The conference also raise and increased my love for the book. Since my joy is always seeing people happy, I was really so happy at the conference as I saw very many people happy and everyone was just appreciating and testifying the goodies of the Urantia book and family and how their lives have changed. The conference as really a unifying factor of different people.

As I conclude, it is my humble request and appeal that this should not be the last conference and we need more of such events to make more people love and embrace the Urantia book.

Thank you very much and may God bless and continue to protect you.

GROUP PHOTO
