But There Is A Spirit In Man

Job 32:8, "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding."

This "spirit", this "indwelling spirit of God the Father" is the Thought Adjuster (TA) - God in man: spirit of God, candle light, Inner Voice, Still Small Voice...

Some religions understand this. Some do not. For example, Christianity. Christianity has a problem with this interpretation because it [this correct interpretation, that is] reveals loopholes in its doctrine of Salvation. Many Christian outlets teach God cannot be in an individual except he or she is washed by the blood of Jesus. As a result, they interpret Job 32:8 to mean that particular spirit is man's 'human spirit' which needs to be saved or recreated. However, Salvation is by the divine grace through faith and faith alone - faith that God exists - "God is" and He is "your Father". Such a faith that would empower you to surrender your all, wholeheartedly to His will and His way. No works is needed. No work of animal blood sacrifice. No work of shedding the blood of your own son. And also, no work of Jesus blood sacrifice. (Nevertheless, we understand that the Jesus experience on the cross has the power to lead people to salvation because of the great spiritual drawing power of his LOVE that was displayed at the cross...) Wrapped up in the love of God, you are saved by grace through faith. Not of works...

This spirit is God's divine spirit, the spirit fragment of God the Father. It is by this technique that our all-powerful, infinitely transcendent God can come close to you, to indwell in. This is how transcendence becomes immanence. This spirit is God in man. It is not your 'human spirit' or your lost, faulty, sin-prone human spirit.

This spirit, the Thought Adjuster [TA] comes into every human being when he or she makes his or her first moral decision - at the age of accountability, usually between 4 and 6 years of age. The TA resides at the SUPERCONSCIOUS levels of your mind. As a result, even if you are sinful, the TA can still remain in you. Sin cannot ordinarily or easily get to your superconsciousness. It is the "Holy of Holies" in you. That's where God resides. And that's why Jesus declared, "The Kingdom of God is within you!"

Proverbs 20:27, "The spirit of man is the candle of God, searching all the inward parts of the belly." ...and the "candle of God" does not need to be recreated or born again. It is not corrupt. Cannot be corrupted. It is your soul that needs salvation - to be "born again". It is your "spiritual life" that may need to be "born anew". It is very important to understand these distinctions.

Please Note Briefly:

One sure thing that can defy the Holy of Holies in a human being is persistent, continuous willful iniquity (a far greater and higher level of "sin"); a total, complete, wholehearted dedication to Lucifer. When a human being consciously, willfully, and wholeheartedly sells himself to Lucifer, his TA would leave. This constitutes SOUL DEATH (or spiritual death) as explained in Paper 112:3.2 of the Urantia Book. The good news is that this does not happen frequently to people on Earth. Most people would not consciously and willfully sell themselves to the devil.

Urantia Book Paper 112:3.2, "Spiritual (soul) death. If and when mortal man has finally rejected survival, when he has been pronounced spiritually insolvent, morontially bankrupt, in the conjoint opinion of the Adjuster and the surviving seraphim, when such co-ordinate advice has been recorded on Uversa, and after the Censors and their reflective associates have verified these findings, thereupon do the rulers of Orvonton order the immediate release of the indwelling Monitor. But this release of the Adjuster in no way affects the duties of the personal or group seraphim concerned with that Adjuster-abandoned individual. This kind of death is final in its significance irrespective of the temporary continuation of the living energies of the physical and mind mechanisms. From the cosmic standpoint the mortal is already dead; the continuing life merely indicates the persistence of the material momentum of cosmic energies."

"It is more blessed to give than to receive."

God never asks us to do anything that He has not already done. We can't out-give God. He is the most generous giver. One of the best-known Scripture from the Gospels, John 3:16 says that, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, so that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but have eternal life.”

Urantia Book Paper 100:7.10 The Master was always generous. He never grew weary of saying, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

We see in Scripture that the blessings God has blessed us with are not just for our own gain. We are to share with others who are in need. It was for this reason that God also commanded the people not to harvest the entire field but to leave the corners of their fields for the poor. “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 23:22) May you be filled to overflowing with the Spirit of the Living God. May each of us be transformed by His power, love, mercy and forgiveness, and extend the grace we have experienced to those around us.

What is your, "Net Worth"?
Your net worth IS NOT the size of your bank account. Your net worth can be seen in the VALUE YOU ADD to the lives of people. How many lives do you impact positively and powerfully - for good in an hour; in a day; in your life time? That, my friend, is your true "net worth". Money is important. Get it, you may. But remember, money is not everything.
Our true net worth is not how much money we earn per hour... Please, ask yourself, "What do I need to do to create a great and lovely impact in the lives of people per hour? What do I need to do to add value to others? And what do I need to do to increase the number of people?"
Being very popular does not necessarily equate to having a great net worth. Some people are relatively unknown by the general public but their net worth is far above that of some so-called celebrities. In the final analysis, God makes that judgment call as to the quality and quantity of your net worth for He sees all and knows all.

The Gospel of the Kingdom

The gospel of the Kingdom is simple:

The Kingdom of God is within you! And you are saved by grace through faith - faith that God is your Father and you are His son/daughter and that your eternity is secured. And faith that causes you to surrender your all to Him and causes you to show LOVE. That's what Jesus taught - in essence.

(Within you - for the spirit of the Father is already in you. This spirit comes at the age of accountability, usually between 4 and 6 years of age.)

Salvation comes to you when you surrender your heart completely to God as a result of a personal experience of the quickening impact of the love of God. This can happen through many different ways.

The quickening, spiritual life-giving love of God can be embraced by a mortal at the foot of the cross. It can also be embraced through many other ways. Jesus never ever limited it to the cross. This explains why He forgave sins and got people born again (born of water and of the spirit) and added them to the Father's Kingdom before he was crucified.

I am sharing some deep stuffs here. Without the Spirit of Truth, you may not appreciate what I am saying. To understand salvation clearly, you have to focus more on the teachings of Jesus Himself - not the teachings of your Imam, Priest, Pastor or St. Peter or St. Paul.

This message of salvation is applicable to all, regardless of their religious background and their planet of origin.

A major mistake a lot of people make is this: they define salvation based on their own individual experience. Life is so, so big and vast. The truth far transcends the very limited and greatly circumscribed experiences of one, two or a few individuals.

Jesus never narrowed down salvation. He taught a gospel of salvation that is readily available and applicable to Jews, Christians, Muslims, etc and also to humans on other planets.

A major problem with the prominent religions or faiths on our planet is this: they succumb to the temptation of narrowing down salvation to members of their faith or religion. In some cases it's so bad that salvation is greatly narrowed down to accommodate only members of a particular church or temple - a subset of a faith.

For example, Christianity. Some christian sects or churches have further narrowed salvation down to such a level that except you become a member of their church and accept the doctrines of their church, you shall never be saved. It's that pathetic...

No human being; no church; no faith or religion; no experience of a single individual or group has a monopoly on God. None.

15 students attended the conference and 10 books were given out to students who wrote down their contact information: name, email and telephone number. 2 copies were donated to the University Library - The Nimbe Adedipe Library. Spirit of Truth is the spirit of Jesus Christ!

“The coming of the Spirit of Truth purifies the human heart and leads the recipient to formulate a life purpose single to the will of God and the welfare of men. Stand Up. Take Up Your Bed. Walk.

There was this guy who Jesus "assisted" (somewhat) to stand up; take up his bed and walk.

The Midwayers who narrated the story commented that in this particular case, it was not a miracle as such. ...that all the man needed to have done was just that - stand up; take up his bed and walk. He had it within himself to do so. But he languished in confusion, ignorance, setbacks, "downcast", and stuff. There are many people like that today.

147:3.5 One man who had been many years downcast and grievously afflicted by the infirmities of his troubled mind, rejoiced at Jesus’ words and, picking up his bed, went forth to his home, even though it was the Sabbath day. This afflicted man had waited all these years for somebody to help him; he was such a victim of the feeling of his own helplessness that he had never once entertained the idea of helping himself which proved to be the one thing he had to do in order to effect recovery — take up his bed and walk.

Receive MORE or Lose EVERYTHING

"Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them." - Jesus, Matthew 13:12

We need to spend TIME to nuture our gifts and talents. TIME to be the best in school; on the job; in our family lives; in our spiritual lives, etc. TIME to personally study, learn, improve, meditate, etc.

Instead of spending 8 hours watching sports or soap operas each week, why not slash it to 4 or 2? Instead of going to Church, Temple or Mosque everyday, why not reduce it to once or twice weekly? Some people are doing poorly and hoping for a "miracle" WITHOUT putting in the WORK required.

God will not give you any MIRACLE! He will give it to those who PRAY and put in the WORK required. When you do your part, then you are making use of "what you have". As a result, God will give MORE to you. But if you give all kinds of excuses and fail to discipline yourself with regards to self-improvement, then even the little you have shall be taken away from you. No amount of prayers, anointing oil, etc shall bring "the miracle". FAITH without WORK is dead!

Encounters in God

DEEP truths!

To really KNOW GOD and be close to Him, you have to be wholeheartedly dedicated to having, in your own personal life, "the realities of experience - spiritual experience" - experiences in God; encounters with God; experiences in the supernatural. "Teachings" alone would not cut it. Teachings ought to point you to or assist you towards having deep and powerful encounters with God; otherwise, forget it. Teachings without solid "encounters in God" will just get you tied down in the muddy waters of self-righteous religion. Please, check this out:

The Man in the Mirror

"Jesus is the spiritual lens in human likeness which makes visible to the material creature Him who is invisible. He is your elder brother who, in the flesh, makes known to you a Being of infinite attributes whom not even the celestial hosts can presume fully to understand. But all of this must consist in the personal experience of the individual believer." - Urantia Book 169:4.13, "The Father and His Kingdom"

Jesus is the "man in the mirror". And as we wholeheartedly and consistently look at the mirror, we become transformed more and more to be like Him - like the man in the mirror. To look at the mirror is to see Jesus - to see His spiritual nature - character, attributes, power, love, etc. And as we see, we are pulled closer to God the Father because Jesus is a revelation of the Father. Yes, "Jesus is a revelation of the Father". This is why he said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. "

The habit of looking at the mirror involves personal, daily spiritual experiences. It is these experiences of the faith-liberated individual believer that reveals God as FATHER - the Father of spirits who has infinite, unlimited wonderful attributes. These attributes begin to rub off on us, making us supernatural human beings, mighty warriors in this life and in the hereafter. Such is the stuffs of those who the great Paul of Tarsus calls, "More Than Conquerors". For we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ our Lord. Hallelujah!
