Kamwenge Conference 2022-02-15 & 16

REPORT ON 15/16 FEB KAMWENGYE CONFERENCE BY THE WAY THE TRUTH AND LIFE SERVICES FOUNDATION.

We were pleased as an organization to be invited by Kamwengye elders to hold conference that would much be centered to knowing more about urantia book. We prepared fully as a team of three members with printing urantia papers that would help in teachings, Brother Paul helped us with presentations about the life teachings of Jesus as He presented them on earth.

Everyone was happy and were welcomed on 15^th in morning and the conference kick started with introduction from all members that were around ,it was first day were 130 people were in attendance ,this was due to mass mobilization by our leaders in the district.

After introduction ,the programmer welcomed the Presenter to teach ,He began by distributing the papers and requested members to write what they expected from the teachers and urantia book, Members in attendance wrote different answers .mostly people wrote how they expected allowances which confused the presenter and asked leaders if they had promised money to people, others wrote that they expected to be converted in the urantia religion, a one pastor in the congregation wrote ,that he came to understand why urantia book differs with bible, others wrote that they expected teachers to pray them and get prosperity in whatever they do-so they expected miracles.

The Presenter started by introducing urantia book to the people where he said urantia means Earth and described people as loved children of God ,that they are youngest brothers of Jesus, he continued to mention that Jesus lived on earth before we existed, that he put on fresh, he had a family and disciples. That it’s through Him God showed the love he has for mankind.

He told them how urantia book has four parts that is part 1, UP TO PART 1V he said that it would be good and wise to start with part IV for one to understand the urantia book. Part IV presents teachings of Jesus from paper 120 to paper 196. He said reading urantia book has helped him in how he actually approaches some aspects of life, he says he used to judge some religions but the urantia book challenged him. He said that the urantia book is a uniting factor to all religions since God loves his people regardless of where they belong. He ended by teaching on paper 120 the bestowal of Michael.

He later welcomed Mrs. Margaret. She started by thanking women that come to attend that it showed determination of ladies in doing God’s work which used not to be the case in early days. She requested members to welcome urantia book and it should become their guidance as they live on urantia. She gave her testimony that she believed God, she has been exceling most of the times and God has been God to her family.

Then members were granted time to rest and have lunch.

the Presenter opened the after-lunch session by welcoming members from lunch ,he started by asking members what they had learnt so far and most people gave what they think about the book being introduced to them. He later welcomed James the leader of Kamwengye.

He thanked members who had fulfilled their invitations and told them to listen to what will be taught to them and welcome the urantia book, James gave out the printed papers to individuals to follow while leaders are teaching.

Mrs.Margeret prayed and thanked God that had led to successful first day of conference.

Second day was started by people having breakfast in the morning that followed with presentations with the Presenter and he went on to explain each slide for people to understand in the local language this went up to midday and he requested people to distribute themselves in group of ten to study in the group and come up with question for easy discussions. He told members that they will be joined by friends on zoom in the afternoon to answer some of the questions.

Later in the afternoon Paul and Monica joined through zoom and taught about our loving Father God and answered some questions about love that was asked by some individuals.

Then the Presenter answered the rest of questions as he got answers from Sister Monica.

Ten groups were formed for weekly fellowship. the Presenter and Margaret visited individual homes after the second day session to encourage members where the fellowships will be held. At least people that attended went knowing one or more things about urantia.

2021-12-23 Food Relief for Kamwenge among revelation study group families

​Today Wednesday December 22 people were blessed with the food ,where by some of the families who  lacked food for Christmas ,as Jesus said that we should feed the hungry,

  167:1.5 Therefore, when you entertain at dinner or give a supper, invite not always your friends, your brethren, your kinsmen, or your rich neighbors that they in return may bid you to their feasts, and thus will you be recompensed. When you give a banquet, sometimes bid the poor, the maimed, and the blind. In this way you shall be blessed in your heart, for you well know that the lame and the halt cannot repay you for your loving ministry."

Brother all this was from SFN donors, people have appreciated this and Ninsiima James is the one reading in Kamwenge District he has five groups now. He picked three poor people in each group.

Today five groups were given food to take them through the Christmas period ,as these are the UB readers who are being bought up with the revelation, and it has changed them, spiritually.

How is the UB different from the Bible?
Is the Urantia Book a new religion? 

After answering these good questions ,they were interested with the book ,and they asked me how can they access the books. Then I told them that ,that books will come and we will also print and bind the Papers.

Also one member suggested that it would be better for them to have book that is in their language , because ,some of them don't know English.

On Monday November 8th The Way The Truth and Life Service Foundation conducted a one day Revelation Retreat and Workshop. Their were 13 Study Group Leaders present at the Retreat/Workshop.

At the day one workshop that was held in Ibanda district at Half Landon Gardens it was aiming at bringing the Urantia group fellowships leaders together for interaction, answering the underlying questions about the new revelations-truth book from their groups.

Getting to know each other and mostly to continue making it clear about the primarily goal of taking the gospel far .

Remember All the initial plans for planet earth by our Universal Father were brought to complete failure by the Lucifer Rebellion ,so it is always Good to make these leaders come together to remind themselves how they are in our Heavenly Father's service that needs committee's and revelation workers as exhibited by the Creator Son in His Early age and later public ministry.
 

We hope to host these special workshops on a monthly basis. The next workshop will take place on 9/12/2021 as we close the year!

FOOD SUPPORT TO URANTIA IBANDA FELLOWSHIP MEMBERS.

COVID 19 greatly affected Uganda and largely the rural places, Uganda has been under total lockdown for the last 8 months this year, schools have been closed for 77 weeks now. It has been really hard time for everyone, people have not been allowed to work hence no income for taking care of their daily expenses, the world has been a hard place to live in for the past 2 years due to the pandemic, however we always stand on our heavenly Father's promises.

Urantia Ibanda fellowships have 8 urantia study groups so far in number and about 80 members in total, male, female, young and old they meet twice in the week to study the truth book and getting much to know about themselves, Its one way of strengthening brotherhood. For the past 5 weeks we have seen these members grow in faith and welcoming the truth book in order to find out what our heavenly father’s purpose for the universe. They have learnt where the religions started from, why and how, they have come up with different questions from the study and most of questions have been attended to by Sister Monica Kemp which has continued to strengthen the faith of members.

ON 2021-10^th October The Way The truth and life services foundation conducted a visit to several groups to assess how groups were progressing the feedback was good and surprising to how these groups had welcomed the Urantia fellowships in different regions. Some of groups had started to compose songs from urantia book, which was really encouraging, Margaret and Johnprosper have so far released several songs however they are still looking for funds to video out the songs!

We later discussed the social life with them to how they were living since we wanted to move our fellowships in their homes, we visited some homes that we later discovered that most people were affected by COVID 19 challenges and mostly they were living on a single meal per day. This forced us to plan and budget for the food that was needed. We sent the email to Paul kemp who has really done a great job to help people under the urantia umbrella in Africa especially in Uganda. He welcomed the idea of helping out people with food, he later created a food drive fundraiser that attracted good hearted people to donate some food. The food was procured, and several families were given food up to date 60 families were helped and we are thankful for God’s sufficient provision and thankful to every one that reached out to help.

You can’t imagine to how many smiles that you have put on people’s faces. We are thankful for the good hearts God gave you. The campaign is still ongoing it takes a heart to give, and the heavenly rewards awaits.

That is the manifestation of Godly love, Mortal man cannot possibly know the infinitude of the heavenly Father. Finite mind cannot think through such an absolute truth or fact. But this same finite human being can actually feel—literally experience—the full and undiminished impact of such an infinite Father's LOVE. Such a love can be truly experienced, albeit while quality of experience is unlimited, quantity of such an experience is strictly limited by the human capacity for spiritual receptivity and by the associated capacity to love the Father in return. ~ The Urantia Book, 3:4:6

The Christmas season is approaching we encourage everyone to share love with less privileged by giving.

I quote one of the leaders that received food for her people, Margaret says that her group members lacked what to eat but they have always prayed for provision and God did it. They are all happy and encouraged in faith.

We really appreciate Brother Paul, Sister Monica kemp and SFN family that has been so helpful and resourceful for these fellowships and support.

So many testimonies are coming up and everyone has been encouraged.

We are currently in need of a motorcycle to ease transportation in long distances, to ease weekly visits to those groups and fellowship with them.

Mushanga youth group - One on one explaining about Urantia fellowship and the book since they had too many questions about it ,this has been the so most questioning group during my visit.

We hired a car to the Bus pàrk and boarded the Bus here and after this mission, we shall heading to Fortpotal and then to Hoima.

Here during our Urantia Book mission trip to Ibanda, we were offering training and supportive guidance on how to read the UB to understand it easily, where to begin from especially with Part 1V about the Life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

We instructed them on how to form UB Fellowship reader's groups and how to live exemporaly lives depicting that of Jesus among our respective areas of jurisdiction.

At the end of it all, people testified and showed more interest in reading the book and it had become simpler to all of them and they promised to become good disciples for the New revelations.

After the meetings Laurenco Brian reported to brother Paul: Hello Brother Paul today I have finally received the Urantia book and starting from today I am going to create time for it since I have been crying for it. We have enjoyed great time with Moses which was a wonderful moment. This book is so interesting because it gives much details about Jesus Christ.

2021-09-28 The Way The Truth and Life Services Foundation Report on Ibanda District of Uganda

Brother Paul I know Namanya Keneth and he sent these photos to me I am compiling the file you told me to do for Ibanda district then I will be paying them a visit next week.

Namanya Keneth writes  (In advance Father, we are forming serious groups of reading and practising concepts in the Urantia book, only that we only have one book,)

We have several groups around that I will be visiting for encouraging of the work of God.

Patience should be in place as we are working very hard to get them study materials for them to use especially when we own the printer we shall be able to have photocopies for them.

Patience was manifested by Jesus,read (p100:7.4)

^100:7.14 His courage was equaled only by his patience. When pressed to act prematurely, he would only reply, "My hour has not yet come." He was never in a hurry; his composure was sublime. But he was often indignant at evil, intolerant of sin. He was often mightily moved to resist that which was inimical to the welfare of his children on earth. But his indignation against sin never led to anger at the sinner.

Third group by Margret.Today we have been studying the Life of Jesus in urantia book and everybody was interested.The name of This group is called Kiburara Young Stars, and we usually meet on Sunday and Tuesday. We usually teach these young stars on how to develop their skills and talents, some play football and others make handcrafts.

They always meet every evening for learning and teaching for family members .

And on Tuesday and Saturday they go out in the neighbouring communities for growth and development of Urantia services.

By John prosper. The love of Christ to Humanity Kingdom is aimed at preaching the gospel. To people in the community and developing the activities in the community of the group members. We are located in Uganda Ibanda district Ishongororo Nyansimbo Ward Omwitaagi cell. That is were we meet as the group. We do our meetings twice in a week that is on Monday and  Saturday at 5:00pm. So far as the group we are learning about the teachings of Jesus and now we far reached on paper 172:2:1 goings into Jerusalem that is part 1V of the urantia book and people of the group are really interested with the book because it has changed their lives and they have really known the hidden information that is now in the urantia book more fully than the bible and they love the book. That is so far we have reached as the group thanks for loving us may God bless you abundantly.

Divine Mercies International Ministry

Is aimed at teaching the word of good news to young generation and helping them to know really God is, and to have good impact in life as children while knowing the love of God and teaching them good skills like Jesus was a good child in his family helping his parents while doing work in order to develop those skills, more so helping them to have their own basic needs like education medical care and clothing and teaching them to be good teachers of the future generations thus bringing the good news of God to people in the world.

We meet three times in a week that is on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 3:00pm  thanks for loving us may God bless you abundantly.

Sister Monica ~ tell brother Paul that sofar those are groups already active ,the demand of the books is so high ,let him post them on our blog posts ,let him make for us album under our group. Urantia book movement is growing more than I expected.This is God working!

As Fellowship group we are teaching them the teachings of Jesus and the students are very interested with the urantia book.

they have tried to understand some information that is not in bible while they are being transformed with new information from the teachings of these new revaluations coming to them.

I do teach them twice in a week that is on Monday and Saturday at 5:00pm 

God is transforming  the lives of students. They are finding good revelation of recently we were sharing about Joseph and Mary and students of the Urantia book were interested to know the good news of a fuller story.

Thanks for loving the urantia book students from Ibanda and providing this opportunity. This is a golden revelation.
