The head caretaker of Samaritan Foundation Orphanage (Safo) and I have been discussing iadoption from afar. Our hope is that we could find individuals and families to "adopt from a distance" each child in his orphanage. You would get the child's name, age and picture. You would commit to writing to your child at least once every 1-3 months. Once a month would be best if you could, even if it were just a post card sometimes just letting them know you are thinking about them. 

If you wanted, you could send them little surprises throughout the year every now and then such as crayons and coloring paper, a book or a small toy or even an article of clothing. 

You could pray for your child by name every day. You could make a real difference in an orphaned child's life across the world by showing them love. 

I need to know if there will be interest in participation in this before I start organizing it. Please let me know if you even think you MIGHT be interested in being part of this.
